Pioneering double-ended car and passenger ferry with fully battery-electric propulsion, built in Norway in 2014 with a lightweight aluminium catamaran hull. Two 450 kW electric motors drive two azimuth thrusters, one at each end, giving a service speed of about 10 knots with zero emissions in operation. Lithium-ion battery banks are recharged at each quay in around ten minutes, and two shore charging stations are included in the sale. The vehicle deck takes about 120 cars or eight 18 m trailers, with 5.0 m headroom on the main deck and 2.5 m on the side decks, and a maximum deck load of about 349 t. Certified for 350 passengers in a central lounge. She operated a short fjord crossing in western Norway for over ten years and was withdrawn on 1 September 2026 when the route passed to a new operator. A conversion to diesel-electric power is possible with minor rebuilding, estimated at EUR 1.4 to 1.9 million. Prompt delivery in Norway. Specifications to be verified by buyers.
