Cruise Ships and Passenger Ferries for Sale and Charter Worldwide
QPS Marine Ships is a licensed and bonded brokerage specialising in passenger vessels: cruise ships, expedition ships, RoPax and RoRo ferries, high-speed craft and accommodation vessels for sale or charter worldwide. Every listing below is identified by stock number, with specifications, an estimated price and the vessel's last known location. If you do not see what you need, send us your requirements — many ships are available off-market.
RoPax Ferries for Sale and Charter
Passenger and vehicle ferries for overnight and day routes, listed by stock number with lane meters, capacity, class and location
RoPax ferries carry both rolling cargo and passengers, and they are the workhorses of short-sea and overnight routes in the Baltic, the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, Asia and the Americas. QPS Marine Ships brokers RoPax tonnage for sale and for charter, from day ferries with a few hundred passengers to overnight ships with several hundred cabins and nearly 2,000 lane meters of vehicle deck.
Each listing is published under a QPS stock number with the details that matter to a ferry operator: length, gross tonnage, lane meters, passenger and cabin capacity, service speed, classification society, flag, build year and the last known trading area. The vessel's name and owner are released to serious buyers after a non-disclosure agreement, and the price shown is our estimate from direct discussion with the owner.
Overnight RoPax ferries
For longer crossings, cabin capacity and lane meters drive the economics. Current listings include a 2002-built 203 m ferry of 30,285 GT with 1,924 lane meters and up to 800 passengers, DNV classed and Cyprus flagged, trading in the Baltic (S2755); a 152 m ferry with 400 cabins and 1,249 passenger berths available for charter only (S2746); and a 1990-built RoPax cargo ferry with 1,880 lane meters and 70 cabins in the Baltic, DNV classed (S2759).
Day and short-sea RoPax ferries
Where routes are shorter, passenger throughput and turnaround matter more than cabins. We are marketing a 1980-built 148 m ferry of 21,518 GT with about 1,000 lane meters and capacity for 2,280 passengers on day sailings, for sale or charter (S2765), and a 1991-built ferry for 528 passengers with 1,615 lane meters in the western Mediterranean, classed by Bureau Veritas (S2758).
High-speed RoPax
A 177 m high-speed RoPax ferry with 134 cabins and 400 passenger berths is available for sale or charter (S2740). For pure high-speed craft and catamarans, see our High-Speed Ferries page; for freight-led vessels with limited passenger accommodation, see RoRo Ferries.
Buying or chartering a RoPax ferry
Ferry acquisitions turn on route fit: linkspan and ramp compatibility, draft at both ports, vehicle deck clear height, passenger certificate limits, and the flag and class requirements of the intended trade. We work with buyers to shortlist vessels against those constraints before arranging inspections, and we handle the negotiation, memorandum of agreement and delivery with the owner and their brokers. QPS Marine Ships is licensed and bonded, with offices in Florida and the Mediterranean. If your requirement is not covered by the listings above, send us the route and capacity you need.
