Built in 1998 in Finland as one of a series of fast RoPax ferries for Adriatic service, she was refitted in 2002 for long-term overnight and day crossings in Australian waters, where she operated until October 2026. Her 194.33 m hull with 25 m beam and 6.55 m draught is powered by four medium-speed diesels totalling 42,240 kW, for a maximum speed of about 30.8 knots. Passenger capacity is 1,400 with 750 berths in about 222 cabins, plus reclining seats, restaurants, bars, lounges, a cinema, shop and children's play areas. Drive-through vehicle decks with bow and stern access offer approximately 1,464 lane metres for cars, coaches and freight trailers (some sources quote up to 1,800 lane metres). She was refurbished in 2015 and maintained to a high standard in year-round service. Now laid up following delivery of larger replacement tonnage, she is offered for sale as is, where is, with her identical sister also available as Stock No. S2844.
