About This Vessel
This 70-metre (230 ft) steel river cruise vessel was built in 1995 in the United States and was converted in 2023–2024 from a casino riverboat into a river cruise and dining vessel. She is certified by the U.S. Coast Guard under 46 CFR Subchapter H to carry 930 persons, including crew.
The conversion was extensive: superstructure modifications, new galleys and bars, a major electrical rewire, new lighting, new safety systems and a full re-coating. The main deck and the boiler deck each offer about 8,500–8,700 sq ft of open, high-ceilinged ballroom space with large arched windows, teak decks, a full galley and a bar. The hurricane deck adds about 2,600 sq ft with open-air dining and a third bar. Two elevators serve all decks.
She is twin-screw, powered by two Cummins KTA38M diesels driving through ZF reduction gears, with a bow thruster, three 750 kW generators and a 250 kW emergency generator. The pilothouse has been refurbished and has port and starboard bridge-wing control stations. Her last USCG dry-dock and internal structure inspections were in April 2024.
