High-Speed Ferries and Catamarans for Sale and Charter

High-speed craft - catamarans, monohulls and fast RoPax ferries - serve commuter routes, island links, airport and resort transfers and tourist excursions where speed sells the ticket. QPS Marine Ships brokers high-speed passenger vessels for sale and charter to ferry operators, resorts, municipalities and tour companies.
Each listing carries a QPS stock number and the figures that matter for fast craft: length, passenger capacity, maximum and service speed, build and refit dates, hull material, the code or class the vessel is certified under, and its current location. The vessel's name and owner are released to qualified buyers after a non-disclosure agreement.
Catamaran passenger ferries
Two DSC-code catamaran passenger ferries are currently offered. The first is a 1995-built 35 m catamaran refitted in 2024, carrying up to 330 passengers at a maximum of 22 knots and priced at about EUR 1.45 million (S2744). The second is a 1994-built catamaran DSC passenger ferry marketed through our Mediterranean office (S2743).
US-flagged high-speed ferry
For US domestic routes, where the Jones Act limits the tonnage available, we list a US-flagged high-speed passenger ferry rebuilt in 2024 and certificated under USCG Subchapter T for 149 passengers, available for sale or charter (S2754).
Fast RoPax

What to check before buying a fast ferry
Fast craft are sensitive to route conditions and regulation. Sea state on the intended route, the applicable code (HSC Code, DSC Code, or a national standard such as USCG Subchapter T or K), engine hours and overhaul history, hull material and the availability of berths with suitable fendering all bear on whether a vessel will work. We help buyers assess those points, arrange inspections and sea trials, and negotiate the sale or charter with the owner.
